PDS Bar Sweep Survey Software
Teledyne PDS Bar Sweep supports different ways to monitor your leveling operation. Teledyne RESON provides the software as well as the sensors to accompany the system.Teledyne PDS visualizes the bar in top, profile, and 3D views indicating where the leveling has taken place. The position and depth of the bar is logged to a digital terrain model (DTM) which is color-coded for depth. It is possible to display a design depth in the profile views, indicating whether the bar has to be lowered or hoisted.

3D Multibeam Scanning Sonar
ProScan™
Teledyne BlueView's 3D Multibeam Scanning Sonar user interface software. ProScan connects to the sonar and pan/tilt unit, configures each scan, generates full 3D point clouds, and optionally streams output to third party hydrographic software for fusion with other sensors. Data is recorded in multiple file formats: .son (raw acoustic data file for ProScan reprocessing), .txt (plain text record of all point locations and positional data) and .xyzi (industry standard xyzi data for 3D point cloud viewers, registration software, etc.). In playback mode, users can review and reprocess scans to modify sound speed, intensity threshold, multidetect and range settings as needed. ProScan coupled with Teledyne PDS MotionScan, pitch, roll heading and position sensors provides the capability to scan areas to collect 3D point clouds while correcting for motion.

This position sensing detector measures laser beam position to 0.1mm accuracy and laser size measurement of a Gaussian beam to +/-5% accuracy. *Laser Thermal Power Sensors
Thermal sensors have a series of bimetallic junctions called a thermopile. Radial or axial heat flow through the sensor creates a voltage proportional to the power absorbed as it flows through the thermopile. The reading is not dependent on the ambient temperature since only the temperature difference is measured and not the absolute temperature. The thermopile elements are so arranged that the reading is almost independent of beam size and position. Generally, Ophir specifies ±2% or better uniformity of reading over the surface.
